Memorial Day Loggings blast from Pennsylvania! Heard on own KiwiSDR.
6925 U, Unid 01:34 - 01:36
Techno song female saying 'where is my baby', sounds like a familiar European vocalist with a deep voice. Like the vocalist who did that old disco song, 'My Kisses Need A Cavalier' if I was hearing it right.
01:36 Off.
Good signal!
-----------------------
6930 U (will attempt to decode recorded SSTV snippet) 01:39 - 02:11
Old anthem style music, 01:37 SSTV, sounds like a slower mode.
01:39 Glory, Glory Hallelujah sung by chorus with orchestral backdrop.
01:55 SSTV, metronome tick at about 1 second intervals.
01:50 Anthem style music.
02:08 Dixieland.
02:09 SSTV, faster this time.
02:11 Short piece with horns, about 20 seconds and off.
SSTV:
-----------------------
C.D.O., 6.934.97 U 01:40 - 02:22*
01:42, sounds like Thin Lizzy song.
01:52 Tuned back to bluesy electric guitar track, likely more Thin Lizzy, 'all right, all right' lyrics, like concert.
02:01 Continuing concert.
02:14 SSTV, Scottie S2, Evil looking baby or alien, with C.D.O. Male announcer said C.D.O. and what it seemed to stand for, and I think the last word may have been 'Outpost'.
02:17 The Boys Are Back In Town live with crowd cheering at end.
02:21 SSTV, same image as the last one, then CW, and DJ said good night.
02:22 off, with thanks given by another operator.
Station strongly modulated.
-----------------------
6950 U, Unid, 01:43 - 02:06*
01:40 Heavy, bluesy song with live audience.
01:46 Talk about people locking themselves in a room with razor blades, and talking through depression, a personal story and the genesis for writing a song, 'When The Sun Turns Black'.
01:50 Singing 'When The Sun Turns Black' with acoustic guitar.
02:02 Folk country song, 'It's Memorial Day in America' lyrics. 'Rear view mirror .. in the land of the free'.
02:05 Is it 'Battle Hymn Of The Republic'? I'm bad with anthems, but the song is very familiar.
02:06 Off.
-----------------------
Everyone in USB tonight and stacked up on the dial, 4 stations going at once. Band conditions were kind of noisy, but signals were still clear and overall sounded pretty good. I had to flip between all four of y'all to catch what was going on, and I haven't heard this many stations at once for years!
Thanks!
