I'm thoroughly irritated by CQ and its shenannigans. Mainly because Dick Ross and company have a 'screw the reader' attitude.

I was a lifetime subscriber to World Radio.

CQ buys them out, does not continue to honor existing lifetime subscribers, starts mailing me CQ as a substitue for a fixed period of time as a substitute for my lifetime WR sub and I can go piss up a stick apart from that as far as they're concerned.

I was a paid up subscriber to PopComm.

CQ decides to take PopComm exclusively electronic, uses that fecking awful Zinio reader crapola and, if you haven't noticed already, the electronic version of PopComm is a very poor offering compared to when it was its own magazine. Again, CQ's attitude to people asking about PDF format is 'tough sh1t.'

I could care less about fecking CQ - if I want to read about old people's hemerrhoids I'll get the Congressional Report. I do care that because of them there are now two fewer publications in the field for me to support.
