I heard Art do a few shows on radio topics, and I liked that as a ham and radio guy, he wasn't afraid to ask about technical matters, which normal hosts never seem to get into. For me, that made his shows much more interesting. As part of shows on other topics, radio came up all the time.

On the air he talked about pirate radio he was part of as a youth, and when he was selling the C-Crane mini FM transmitter he knew a secret adjustment you could make to increase the power. When someone told him how it could be done, he just talked about it on the air.

I'm glad to hear he was radical about radio, and not just taking it from The Man...

I wonder what happened to Dog Radio on 1680, I sure wish I'd heard that one.
