I received the following email from RF Burns this morning:

"I am sad to report to the pirate radio community that a great boot (and a close personal friend) has gone silent. I received news that Crazy Roger of Radio Confusion, a NAPRHoF member, passed away in October 2015. He was 62 years old and had been in poor health for many years. We had been trying to contact him for over a year with no success. Now we know why.

"His death was confirmed by his sister."

This is indeed bad news. Radio Confusion was the first shortwave pirate station I heard, way back in 1978, and that spark led me to a new direction in the radio listening hobby. Crazy Roger will be missed; hell, he *has* been missed. R.I.P. jta
