Hey Boomer & Howdy Doody Dood

Lemme scratch ur ears, Boomer.

Back in the day (about the mid-90s)... I ran a CC rig at the Winterfest. Ran a bunch of Oz, Action Radio, etc.

Using a DX-35... I made a coupler with a series tapped coil into a switchable 2kv set of caps... into the wall... tuned up for max signal on an S-meter... and let her rip. It covered the whole area, and I got a report from some guys who went out for lunch and had a FB signal 6 or 8 miles away.

That evening... about midnight... if one were to know of such things... and with a bunch of guys in the next room huddled around a radio... I hit the 'little chromium switch' and the tape with Senor Poncho... There was a great hue and cry from next door... and they poured out into the hall.!~!~! Just about made 'em deaf. We copied the transmission thru the wall... it was that loud. Snicker snicker.

Carrier Current works.
