Unfortunately, WA2FNQ simply goes through the installation steps - he doesn't mention whether he had any problems getting the radio to work after he installed it. It would have been really useful for him to continue the narrative...

D00d: Does the '745 have a "remote" jack on the rear apron? If so, you could install a "Universal QSYer" keypad. I suspect not, however. And when you resoldered JP2 you probably voided the warranty. Still worth calling or shooting them an email.

Can you tune from 1.5 with the Big Knob? Or are you stuck there?
