DX LF and MW in the cold!

With this nasty cold snap being a major pain to everything we do, there is one upside to it. LF and MW daytime DX'ing. Try it!!! These FREQ's propitiate in the cold temperatures. So, any low FREQ daytime stations that you can normally barely detect might come in great. I know this time of year I can hear my MW Part #15 AM station at a supermarket parking lot 4 miles away. I can't do that in the summer. So, might as well enjoy the possible DX possibilities and see what you can hear. Not just LF and HF, some distant CB'ers in 27MHz seem to come in better as well. (Not skip.) Keep warm, and HAPPY FRIGIT DX'ing!!!!
