Re: Need help IDing the source of odd noise...

There's no "pattern" as such; the noise is there 24/7 or whenever I check. And the Town guys have mobile radios in all their vehicles, not HTs. Also, I haven't noticed any solar installations nearby; there is a mammoth solar farm that they're just getting online up in Houghton, but that's 8 miles away.

I did notice that the noise was NOT audible on 11735 yesterday; I've only heard it there once. Normally it's wandering around 43 metres. I should probably determine the extent of the wandering one of these days...
