Stan Freberg dies

Well crap. One of America's most famous comics has died. Stanley Victor Freberg passed away at age 88. If you haven't heard of him you've been living under a rock somewhere, and shame on you. He has been one of our funniest (and cleanest) comics for more than 50 years. He pioneered the funny commercial, and took plenty of pot-shots at American history.

He will be sorely missed!
