Just got an email from one of the CountyComm folks and the SSB version of this awesome little radio should be available within the next month. Said he had just run it through its routines and worked as well as the previous models. He says for "under $80" the SSB version of the GP-5DSP w/SSB. Glad to see someone is finally manufacturting some excellent quality portable shortwave/ssb/am/fm/lw radio's to haul out into the woods. Works on 3 AA batteries for days.
