I saw the same warning. It may be the best DX you've ever heard or it could wipe out all radio/tv/cellphone/satellite communications.

If you can get to a place away from the city, look for the Northern Lights (look North) as they should be firing up. If you've never seen the Northern Lights, it should be on your bucket list. Awesome!

The sites I'm reading say the Solar Storm should hit Earth sometime Thursday - Noon.
