As someone who "cut the cord" several years ago, I'd say I would hate for broadcast TV to go away. I cancelled my cable 5 years ago, put up a roof mounted HD antenna with a pre amp and flipped off my cable company. saved $70/month. Still have internet though them though. Between broadcast TV ( I get 10 channels or so, along with the sub channels. Prob 25 channels in all although there is some duplication) and streaming internet (Netflicks, Hulu) I don't want for video entertainment. I probably spent to much time on the couch as it is. That being said, If broadcast TV went away it would force me back into the arms of the monopolistic cable company for TV. shudder.
