Interesting. Apparently on broadcast TV stations there's a PSA running where they want you, the viewers, to call your congressman to tell he, she, it, that we want broadcast TV to still be free TV. [keepmytv.org] Whelp, I went there for curiosity sake and sure enough, it's the NAB. Huh, now as much as I am for broadcast TV, and other over-the-air mediums, I've got to say that if broadcast over-the-air "FREE" TV went bye-bye, I actually don't think that I'd really miss it. Especially after that bodacious transition from analog to digital from the last decade where the signal has to come in just perfect, or you get nothing at all. And, all of those full coverage VHF stations that were forced to move to UHF leaving rural areas without over-the-air TV what so ever now. Yeah, NAB GO TO F'n HELL and shove that free HD TV up your preverbal lobbying ass!
