Being Record Store Day & Vinylthon, 4/18/2026. At least that seems decent, going over WTSQ-LP and my stations, radio-wise. However, my bro-in-law, JG Tiger, believes that today, Record Store Day, is ruined store-wise. Why??? Seemed like a neat idea, except the recording companies are on purposely making scarce releases, like 500 copies of a Taylor Swift LP, sell them for a C-Note, and folks buying them up out-right, not to just have them as fans, but to flip them on ebay, and other sites, for stupid $$$$$. JG Tiger was showing this. Up by Cleveland and Akron, folks were lined-up to big-named record stores, since like 4AM, in line. The owner of Elk City Records, Charleston, WV, won't do this, since he didn't wanna' shell-out $50,000.00 for limited releases, and possibly not even break-even. Yeah... Way to ruin a good thing. Well... At least the radio-side is still neat to check-out.
