Was racing through the 17M amateur band and went beyond 18.168USB and was surprised to hear a modulated carrier on 18.180MHz AM. Sounded like Chinese. Signal faded from S0 - S3 peak, with less fading on the vertical CB antenna, but not stronger. Great audio quality! Sounded like commercials and a news report with telephone interviews. Too bad that I don't know Chinese. Anyone care to guess what this possibly is? I didn't think that there was any broadcasting in 18MHz until you got to 18.900MHz. Any clues?
