8/27/10 Both approx 0000-0100z6925 USB British accent OM reading what sounded like news commentary or story, could only make out what sounded like name "Trevor" and phrase like "inherited (the?) wind". A bit of hip hop, Gary Glitter, Beatles "I Am The Walrus". Signal either intermittent with pauses or faded out, difficult to tell here. 6930 USB Only briefly audible around same time span, music and chatter, couldn't ID anything. Admin |

0155z: 6925 USB back up with electronic dance instrumental. Not sure if same unid but audio quality seems the same - good punchy bottom end. 0200z: Man's voice "...what I find attractive... (name 'Trevor' or possibly 'Heather' again)", preceded and followed by a bit of music I've only heard before from Outhouse, don't know title of song (sorta "hup-two-three" marching cadence). 0213z: Outhouse Radio ID, "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show". 0226z: Sounds like Counting Crows song, followed by Outhouse Radio ID.Are those "Trevor" bits from Ĉon Flux? 0242z: Back with more monkey spanking. 0200 UTC tune-in on 27 August 2010 on 6925U. Male announcer with British accent speaking about a person named Trevor, including mention that "Trevor makes my heart pound."0201 UTC- into a dance/disco musical selection with male vocals reverb style and a heavy beat not by drums. 0206 UTC- male whistling while other male vocals and accompaniment continued. Still vocals with reverb heard here. 0208 UTC- music went into repetitious male vocals and I believe a bass guitar. Nice signal, despite static bursts here in north NJ. Perhaps a new pirate station? No ID heard beyond incantation about a "Trevor." Please ID and QSL! Thanks for the program. 73's, Edward Insinger lenapeland@aol.com Admin |

Follow-up to posting on 6925U at 0211 UTC on 27 August 2010:0211- ID and time pips, then WWV time pips as well as ID: "But first, here's another minute..." 0215- rock & roll musical selection, male vocals + electric guitar entitled "Rock and Roll Not The Way I Wanna Go." 0217- talk once again about "Trevor" and emotion; voice copy difficult by male announcer speaking about this "Trevor...saved your life...greed...my message...controls all things...love..." ID'd as "Outhouse Radio at 0230 UTC, I gotta get the hell outta here, spank your monkey." Outhouse, you fooled me twice with "Trevor" so I'm the fool again. I couldn't spank my monkey, but I was annoyed I didn't ID you and spanked my cat for the second night in a row. He is mad at me and may yet turn into a Bengali tiger seeking revenge on me. Oh no, what have I done??? Admin |
