6925.3 AM 2340-0004+ 7/30-31 SIO=131.

Tentatively IDed as R. Six or similar. Prgm of rock mx w/OM ancr. Tunes included "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds and other songs.

IDs at 2346 and 0001 were difficult to copy, given very weak signal in static. Good synch on the carrier, but copy of the songs and talk was difficult.

It was me George. That xtal usually pulls to low side. The heat must have it pulling high.

Thanks for report, that's the first time I've used an end fed halfwave set up horizontally.

Thanks for your confirmation that this was you, Pigmeat. I could hear the whole show, which had a good carrier, but the audio was so weak that I couldn't get a definite ID, as I said.

The center freq was in fact a little high, not a little low. Perhaps your theory about the heat may have some merit.

I don't know if it was your new antenna or if it was bad propagation, but the signal was extraordinarily weak in Cleveland.

I think my tape deck is crapping out. I've had reports of low audio the past couple of times out.
