UNID, 7/13/10, 6931am, SIO 212 right at noise floor, 00:42+ UTC, playing music - one song was Hendrix "Voodoo Child", there is so much static I can't copy an ID. I believe I heard this same station on 7/7/10 on 6931am at 1:14+ UTC and could not copy an ID that time either  sorry!
The static is super extreme. I keep hearing many IDs, but the voice has a pitch change or some sort of processing and the static is killing it. Finally !!!!!! At 1:18,

0043z: Hendrix "Voodoo Child"
0058z: Rock music still audible, not clear enough to ID.
0100z: The Who "Happy Jack"
0101z: Echoey OM voice over music, possible ID but couldn't copy.
0103z: "You are listening to..." the rest obscured in fades and static.
0106z: Another ID, still can't quite copy through rapid fades here.
0128z: Song with something like "well, well, well" in lyrics.
0132z: Segue with "Cool AM radio".
0138z: "Happy Together". Turtles. I liek tehm.
0206z: Sounded like "The Tick" parody of WWV.SINPO=33222, fair peaks, mucho noisy and fadey. Good punchy bottom end in audio. Listening in AM mode. [This message has been edited by Lex (edited July 13, 2010).] Admin |
