Pirate Radio stations have always been a source of diversity and a hot bed for exploring new directions in programming content. Things that are not permissible in legal broadcasting are common place in illegal broadcasting. What is presented here is a very SMALL sampling of selected pirate radio shows collected over the years in the FRN archives.

Anteater Radio Mobile Studios

Anteater Radio is one of the more unusual pirate operations.

Broadcasting while mobile from an 18 Wheeler Truck from all over North America. Anteater Radio provided numerous relays for other pirate stations and programs in addition to their own programming which was live.

"What is it?"

Using the MPEG3 (MP3) audio compression format, we have procesed and digitized over 50 complete pirate radio programs, all mastered from studio tapes.

This CD contains over 24 HOURS of authentic pirate radio programming. If you were to purchase cassette tapes of all of these programs it would cost over $75.00!

Volume One:
This CD was sold out in it's first printing, we could hardly keep up with the orders! By popular demand, we have printed a second batch of Volume One CDs, but quantitys are limited.
Since Volume Two is about 80% complete there will probably be no more printings of this Volume One CD, so be sure to get yours while they are still available!

Volume Two: (estimated publication date, July 2000)
This CD will be our greatest effort yet! This one is an interactive multi media experience. Not only will it contain hours of pirate radio MP3s, it will also contain a never before seen pirate radio video showing an actual pirate station in action, a remote pirate broadcast in the wilderness, interviews with elusive pirate station operators, and many other things that will never be seen anywhere else!
